Clinic story

Why DermaMedica exists

I have been in this industry since 2001, and over the years I have run a number of different businesses.

I opened DermaMedica in 2019 because I wanted a clinic that did not revolve around SKUs and time-limited appointments. That is not the kind of practice I wanted to run.

I wanted somewhere I could properly assess a client's skin, take the time to understand what is really going on, and design a plan around what they actually need - rather than fitting people into a fixed menu of services.

  • Tailor-made, not packaged — A multidisciplinary approach built around your skin, rather than a fixed treatment package.
  • Degree-qualified dermal clinician — Bachelor-level dermal therapies, plus dermoscopy, pathology collection and PRP training.
  • Menopause and hormonal skin change — A specialised focus on the skin changes associated with menopause an area few clinics address.
  • Layered treatments — Combining needling, laser and PRP for compounding results, rather than relying on one approach.

Approach

An educator, not a salesperson.

First and foremost, I am an educator, not a salesperson.

Every treatment plan starts with a proper assessment. I take the time to explain your skin and any conditions clearly, so you are fully informed before we discuss anything further. I will recommend what genuinely suits your skin and your goals - and the decision on what happens next is always entirely yours.
